What has 2021 been like for you thus far? Has it been the fresh start you were hoping for? Or are the lockdown and the never-ending Covid-news getting you down? Don’t give up on 2021 just yet. I believe in you. That’s why I really wanted to give one of you, my UK friends, a nice little package to encourage you. Read on to find out more about the UK Giveaway January!
WHY I’M DOING A GIVEAWAY
It has been a HOT MINUTE since I’ve done a giveaway. The last one I did was in April last year and for that one, I worked together with the lovely Beki. When I realised how long it had been, I couldn’t wait to do another one. And this time it is all me.
You, my friends, have been so amazing. When I launched my website at the beginning of last year. I had no idea how everything would play out.
While I figured out what I wanted to write about and what I wanted to sell. Bit by bit, I figured out more about who I am. Where my interests truly lie. What gets me excited. And what I’d like to learn more about.
I’ve loved sharing my experiences and my often newfound knowledge with you. And it’s been really precious to hear about your experiences and your knowledge too. How much power there is in women encouraging one another and sharing their knowledge with each other! I hope the AHH-community will become more and more a place where you can do just that.

I especially felt it when I started my new venture of selling vintage homeware in the webshop. Never did I think that I would sell as much as I did. Never did I expect to become a recognised regular in our local auction house. What an honour to be able to continue doing this.
It’s been a real joy to search for new vintage items that could become treasured additions to your home. And I can’t wait until all the car boot sales, thrift shops, and auctions are open again. I miss it! But don’t worry… I managed to build up some stock before the lockdown and it will be going live next week!

WHAT WILL THE GIVEAWAY CONTAIN
But without further ado… Do you remember my top 3 non-toxic personal care products of 2020? I’ve decided to give away exactly those items. PLUS an amazing little book that bursts with inspiration on how to live a more natural and sustainable life.
To be precise, the giveaway contains the following items:
- My absolute favourite natural shampoo and conditioner bar. The nettle, flax & oat shampoo bar and the avocado, flax, rosemary, and lavender conditioner bar by Folk Soap. If you’d like to find out a little bit more about them, I’ve reviewed them here.
- A 1-litre bottle of sweet almond oil by Naissance. A brilliant natural alternative to body and face moisturiser.
