Vintage Copper Milk Measurement Ladles

A set of two vintage copper milk ladles with brass handles. The smaller one has a label with 0,10 l (Height: 5 cm/2 inch, Width: 7 cm/2,75 inch) on it and the bigger one has a label with 0,25 l (Height: 6,5 cm/2,5 inch , Width: 8 cm/3 inch) on it.

Milk measurement ladles were used by milk sellers in the past to pour a precise measure of milk for a customer. Measuring ladles were used in the 19th century and up until the widespread delivery of bottled milk after World War II.
